This page explains what information hvarre.com collects, why, and who can see it. "We" means Hvarre Development LLC and Hvarre Holdings LLC, 1127 N. Galena Ave., Dixon, IL 61021.
What we collect
We only collect what you choose to send us through a form on this site:
- Rental Application: the details you enter, which can include your name, contact details, address, date of birth, employment, income, rental history, references, bank references and answers about credit and criminal history.
- Notice of Intent to Vacate: your name, contact details, current and forwarding address, move-out date and garage code.
- Broker Referral Form: the buyer's name, address and phone, and the broker's name, federal ID number, address, phone and email.
- Visit and appointment sign-ups: your name, email, phone, ZIP code and message.
We do not use advertising or visitor-tracking tools, and this website does not set cookies of its own.
How we use it
We use your information only to answer you and to handle your request: to review a rental application (including the credit, background and reference checks you authorize on the application), to process a move-out, to register a broker referral, or to schedule a visit. We do not sell or rent your information.
Where it goes and how long we keep it
- Each form is emailed to our office mailboxes, which are hosted by Google Workspace.
- A short record of each form (for example name, date and contact details) is also kept in a private file on our web host, SiteGround, so nothing is lost if an email goes astray. This file is not reachable from the internet. For rental applications, this record holds only the applicant's name, email, cell phone, the property and the dates. The full application is only in the email.
- We keep this information only as long as we need it for the purpose you sent it for, or as the law requires.
Spam protection (Google reCAPTCHA)
Our forms use Google reCAPTCHA to tell people from automated spam. It loads only when you start filling in a form, and it sends Google information such as your IP address and how you use the page. Google's Privacy Policy and Terms of Service apply.
Videos, maps and music players
Some pages show content from other companies: YouTube videos (loaded only when you press play), Google Maps, and Spotify and Apple Music playlists on the Community Features pages. When that content loads, those companies may receive information such as your IP address under their own privacy policies. Links to virtual tours, Facebook, our lenders and Hvarre Realty take you to other websites with their own policies.
Saved for offline use
If you visit often or install the site as an app, your browser saves copies of our pages and pictures on your device so the site opens quickly, even offline. These copies stay on your device and you can clear them in your browser settings.
Your choices
You can ask us what information we have about you, or ask us to correct or delete it, unless we must keep it by law. Contact us at tnh@hvarre.com or 815-378-2151.
Children
This site is not meant for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page.
